today I reinstalled minecraft after not playing it for a long time. When I started playing I thought that the textures looked weird. I kept on playing and it started to bug me.
I have wavy lines over textures of the same block and the textures don't look clean.
Any suggestions?

I turned off all of the video settings that could be doing that to me.I think it might be something with my computer because I also get terrible server lag
If you mean that textures on far objects have patterns of circular lines, then that is normal as to how Minecraft renders its graphics. You can reduce this by increasing mipmap levels in the options.

Graphics card issue? Screenies would help.

Retired StaffThen you're just gonna have to "deal" with it I suppose, this is how Minecraft renders its graphics, individual textures instead of a smooth mesh.
