hey man your in luck i just, trying to fix my own minecraft problems found a nice easy solution to yours

click start

search run

open

type: devmgmt.msc

hit ok

it will ask for permission hit continue

click on display adapters

click on the adapter stated below display adapters

click the tab, driver

click update driver

choose search automatically for updates

let it search and update

restart your computer
*(make sure you wait about 3 or so minutes before you restart, and make sure to restart, dont shutdown)

now either minecraft will work, or your error will change to the actual problem with your cpu and not just your monitor

Trust me it works great

sorry i forgot once your done

open up your display properties on your cpu

(rightclick desktop, click display properties)

change your resolution to the highest setting, or close to the highest

should fix the pixel format crash
