Hello,

I am on a Macintosh computer that recently updated to Snow Leopard and the 1.7.4 Minecraft Launcher is not working. There aren't any error messages in the launcher startup, but once I go to the login page and click 'play', the launcher disappears like always before showing the Mojang screen, except it doesn't show the Mojang screen, Minecraft just closes. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this?

I am having a somewhat similar problem except the launcher wont load.

I am also using mountain lion

Also you may need to update your operating system I think as of snow leopard you can update through the app store (that or its lion). If thats the case then you can update to mavericks for free.
