I'm new to the minecraft world, and am now quite frustrated. When I try to run minecraft it loads with squares instead of letters.
i tried to fix it every way i can find;
got direct x, got div x, someone said java 7 sucked, switch to 6, couldnt find it, went with 7 anyway, im thinking tht has to be the problem as nothing else has changed anything. i also updated drives and anything else i could think of.. plz help!
when i try to blindly click on the buttons (top choice is only one that worked), it takes me to another screen, this one looks like a level select type screen. then after blindly clicking buttons again (top left on the bottom of the screen worked this time), it takes me to a screen where i would enter in a name. this screen has other options that change the postion of the squares and therefore i assume, the amount of words or something. the second to last button takes me to a blank white screen then it freezes and crashes.
