I've tried as much as I can to get this thing to play the game. When I open the launcher, it loads fine. But when I click the play button down at the bottom, it displays the Mojang screen, and then it goes back to the launcher interface. I have taken a screenshot of my error, and hopefully I can get some help with this. I've spent $27, and I don't want it to go to waste.
The Intel 4 Series (and older) video cards are unable to play 1.7.4 and future versions of Minecraft. You will need to buy a new video card or computer to play new versions.
For now, you can still play 1.7.2 or older versions of the game. To change your game to a different version, start the launcher. Select Edit Profile. In the Use Version dropdown menu, select the game version you want. Then click Save Profile.
I have the same problem. I tried 1.7.2 all the way to 1.6.4. I still get the same report as "Unitystep". Is there anything else I can try?
Same issue here, launcher launches fine but the game will not launch with any version of minecraft between 1.0 and 1.7.4. Compatibility has been tried, drivers have been uninstalled/updated, same with java and minecraft.
Currently have a Radeon 4800 series card in the computer, so I doubt it has to do with the Intel issue.

Wouldn't it be better if you guys created your own threads, provided your own versions of the crash log, along with your DxDiag log, so that we can work out your individual issues?
