My friends say they can connect to the Minecraft servers, so it's not a problem with Mojang. Also, I can get on skype and a couple other games, so it's not my connection. And when I look in the firewall settings I don't see minecraft on the list.
I'm having the same problem as TheFuzz and I'm not sure how to fix it. I don't think that it's antivirus software or anything, but it has to do with the Windows Socket error 87. If so, does anyone know how to fix Error 87? Or any suggestions on what to do? I'm on Windows 7.
