I was starting up my minecraft launcher when this showed up:
FATAL ERROR: net.minecraft.bootstrap.FatalBootstrapError: Unable to un-lzma: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\Aaron\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\launcher.pack (The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable)
at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.unpack(Bootstrap.java:146)
at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.execute(Bootstrap.java:123)
at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.main(Bootstrap.java:381)
Please fix the error and restart.
I run a Windows 8 64-bit PC, but i dont know the version of Java i have
You may need to try running Minecraft with a blank slate.
To do this, press your Windows+R keys, type in %AppData% at the dialog, and press Enter. In the window that appears, find the directory called .minecraft and right-click it to rename. Rename it to oldminecraft
If the above fails to work, you may have errors with certain parts of your hard drive.
Please see this article on checking your hard disc for errors.
