A fairly minor problem: The minecraft icon, which is normally a crafting table, does not show properly, regardless of version, and throughout multiple uninstallation and reinstallation of minecraft and java, including from %Appdata%. On the main toolbar, the icon shows as blank (the launcher icon is fine), while in the window, it shows as a messy blue-magenta-green pixels square with a distinct crafting-table-like silhouette.

That's the OpenGL logo. No need for a fix, and the fix is kind of complicated, so just ignore it.

It's not the OpneGL logo. It's a mess of pixels. It's minor, but annoying.
