So i have recently created a new world in 1.7.2, after a couple of days playing it i realized that i hadent come across any emeralds, so i loaded up mcedit (shows emeralds as "future Block") and that revealed that there were no emerald ores generated, even after updating to 1.7.4 there were still non generating in new chunks.

(i reverted back to 1.7.2 due to the low-no hostile mobs bug in 1.7.4)

please help me, i have not seen any one else with this problem and i have no idea how to fix it.

I managed to find a extreme hills biome and i can confirm this.
