So I havent played minecraft in over a year, so I decided to go ahead a start again. Ive had the same computer since 2011, when I purchased the game, and have not had any problems... up until now. I deleted every trace of minecraft so I could get a brand new start. I downloaded it off of minecraft.net and ran it, only to wait 5 minutes of silence before dragging it to the desktop to try it again, and still nothing. Ive check my computer specs, re-installed Java maybe 4 times, rebooted, downloaded previous versions and even created a new user to try and run it, but nothing ever happens. I understand that you have to run the launcher before it creates the game directory ( .minecraft file) so that is never created either. ANY help will be amazing! Thanks!
I have the same error! I just came from pmc! Butth ey were complaining about the quality of my picture so I hve now quit pmc, but anyway , do you g this error?
If so then you have the same problem as me and I have tried everything you listed up there and more
