When I try to log onto my friends server, I get an error message saying “Failed to verify username”. I have purchased Minecraft and went through all the steps to set everything up. Anyone have any idea why this happened, and if so, how to fix the issues? Pleas help.
Make sure minecraft can get through your firewall. Try disabling firewall and antivirus and try again.
