I have a problem on Minecraft with my mouse when I'm connected from my laptop to my TV using a HDMI cable. What happens is that my character will always be looking down.
I can look around for 1 second before it automatically goes straight down again. I can move around, jump and all that.
When I open Menu or Inventory it's working just fine. If I disconnect my HDMI, I can play Minecraft just fine.
I have tried re-installing Java and Minecraft, nothing seems to work. Does anyone know what the problem might be, and how I can fix this?
This happened to me when I upgraded to Windows 8.1.
I only had to select the DPI scaling option, but I've included the other two "just in case".
1) Right click the game icon.
2) Go to properties
3) Go to the compatibility tab
4) Check "run this program in compatibility mode for" and select "Windows 8."
5) Check "disable scaling on high DPI settings."
6) Check "run this program as an administrator."
