Hi, I recently just built my pc. Specs are:
AMD FX-6300
MSI 970A-G43
8Gb Team Vulcan Memory (In dual channel, CAS 9 @ 1600 mhz)
MSI R9 270X Gaming
1TB WD Blue
EVGA 600B
BitFenix Shinobi Windowed
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
My OS is Windows 8.1 Pro.
So The issue is kind of minor, but with minecraft at 16 chunks render, fancy, smooth lighting maximum, antisstropic filtering off, mipmap 4, particles all, vsync off and framerate unlimited, I only get around 40-80 fps. I know the GPU and mobo drivers are properly installed. A friend who also recently built his PC with came CPU and graphics card has roughly the same preformance. I know the GPU will only be going at 350-400mhz while in game. My goal is to have over 60 fps constantly. I know it can because weaker cards can have over 200 fps in Minecraft easily. If anyone has any ideas of what I could do, that would be great. Thanks!
