Twitch Livestreaming fails?

Everytime i press F6 to try to Livestream to Twitch I get an error saying - TTV_EC_AUDIO_DEVICE_INIT_FAILED I am not sure how to fix this my Twitch account is linked with my Mojang account and I do have a mic plugged into my computer. It is a usb mic though so Im not sure if that is the problem? Please Help
