So in the past week I've bought and used a new computer. I had previously used Minecraft on an old laptop which is currently dead due to hard drive failures, but that isn't the point. I mainly use Mincraft as a creative outlet (ie building) and downloaded it immediately after I finished setting up my computer. For the first few days it ran smoothly on the few test worlds I opened up. Today was going to be my last test run before I installed MCPatcher and a few resource patches.
Unfortunately when I was trying to move after leting the world load, the camera would only allow me to look at the sky or ground. The standard walk keys are sticky when I try to move forward. Esc and E are also slow to respond. Out of game in the main menu, everything is working to speed though.
I tried to lower the sensitivity of the mouse to almost nothing and it still reacts the same way, and of course it doesn't fix the stickiness with the buttons.
I have 8GB of RAM, an i5 Intel Core, and am running on Windows 8.1. Any help would be appreciated.
