Java Version: 7 Update 45 64 Bit

This isn't a crash as much as a freeze, and therefore doesn't produce a crash report D;
This freeze happens when the game plays the breaking glass sound. Whether that be from breaking glass, glowstone or throw splash potions. Unfortunately I can only reproduce this with my computer. None of my friends get this.

NOTE: This error has only occured recently with the 1.7 versions of minecraft

I have noticed and read many of topics like this, issuing the same problem I have. However I have not found a working solution as of yet. If I missed a solution please link it or tell me.

What I have tried:
- redownloaded/installed minecraft
- updated minecraft
- redownloaded/installed java
- updated java

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's probably an adblocking http proxy. The glass sound is retrieved from a URL with "/ad/" in the path.

Others have run into this.

Thank you so much!Can you tell me the exact address if you have it? I would like to ad it to the URLs it doesn't ad block. Not completely disable adblock

Yes, the assets are downloaded from a set of URLs that are hash buckets for the files, so an example URL would be: http://resources.download.minecraft.net/ad/ad7d770b7fff3b64121f75bd60cecfc4866d1cd6

You should just whitelist the minecraft.net domain, there's no ads there.
