This issue used to come up randomly, but now it's frequent. Tonight alone, I saw this error pop up 30+ times. Every server I connect to, I get this issue. I've tried 1.7.2 & 1.7.4. My game has hit a brick wall at this point.
Is there a fix for this yet? Does anyone know how to fix this? Etc.
I've tried port forwarding, adding exceptions to my firewall/MSE.

Except it isn't.
The newest server I play on, had 50 people online when I was getting constant errors. I was in TeamSpeak with them, and they didn't lose connection. The previous server I was on, same deal cept I was on Skype with them. They also didn't lose connection.
This has been ongoing for months, but just picked up in pace over the last week. As far as I know, everything on my computer is updated, including the BIOS. No one has access to my computer, and I keep as little processes running as possible (ie. I don't run 500 programs in the background and then wonder why my performance went to **** .)
So, any other advice on how to correct this other than the standard cable company, "Just wait." ? Or should I seek a new platform for my entertainment?

Uninstalling and reinstalling Java, including restarting computer.
Removing and re-downloading Minecraft.
Everything is up to date, get in the game, take 3 steps, IOException.
