minecraft won't display-goes blank

when I try to start minecraft, the Mojang screen shows, then goes blank - still shows on bar. Firefox says - "detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. Have attached a url for DxDiag secrect Gist (suggested two days ago).
