Heeeelp I need to update my minecraft java version 1.7.0. But I dont know how to make minecraft use 1.7.0 java. I use a mac .When I press the play button when I open my minecraft it takes forever to load after the load is done the play button is gray color and I cant press the play button so then I cannot play minecraft anymore .I've been having this problem for a week now.I already have the latest java version though I wonder how can I fix it ..I need help badly.

And in any case, all updates for your Mac can be downloaded via the Software Update option. To do so, click the Apple icon in the top left of the screen, and click Software Update. Continue to install updates until there are none.
If you are still unable to use Java 7, then you do not have a compatible Mac. (It has to be Intel powered).
