Hello everyone, I am having problems in my minecraft single player world, sometimes when I try to load the world or play it, it gets stuck at the building terrain screen for about 8 secs. Then it puts me into the world with out any chunks being loaded, i sti have 100 fps going but it says 0 chunk updates. I can easily fix this by logging off or rebooting my computer. I am wondering why this happens and how i can fix it. I have had the world since 1.5.1, i hav had mods installed in the past but not anymore, i have a Windows 7 Ultimate with a 64 bit java, i play in 1.7.4. Feedback is much appresiated.

By logging out do you mean exiting out of the world to the world list menu or logging out of the game? Also, try hitting F3 + A or if you are on a mac FN + F3 + A. This should reload the chunks.
