The game works perfectly fine until you go fullscreen; it only displays a black screen. The game still runs, as in you could walk around and hear your footsteps, break blocks and everything, only you couldn't see anything. I'll have to press Fn + F11 to exit fullscreen, only to find it working perfectly normal.
I've been having this issue ever since the new launcher was introduced (which was in 1.6, I believe), so I've been having this problem for months now. I've been Googling for a while, looking for solutions, but to no avail. The fullscreen used to work fine before, I should tell you. Why I wanted to use the actual fullscreen and not the "resize window until it looks fullscreen" thing is it actually runs faster in fullscreen (for some reason. I don't know. It's the case for me).
Additional information: I'm playing Minecraft on a Macbook Air (a laptop, obvsly) version 1.6.8, Processor 1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Memory of 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3.
I know this laptop ain't for gaming but it's literally all I have right now. Saying "don't use a Mac" or "use a PC" is not a solution to my problem, so please don't answer me similarly. I used to be a Windows user, but my laptop kept on having (hardware) problems, so I have to resort to this until... well, who knows when.
So yeah. Hope you guys can help me.
