Minecraft Client wont work

When i Downloaded minecraft this is what happens look at this Development Console. I looked at many forums about this kind of errors. But the they're solutions are'nt working for me. But meanwhile, one idea is, update java. Macs often have a silly "Apple Java" version 1.6 thing, but as long as it's Lion 10.7.3 you can install Java 7 - see here.

Thanks for the spoiler thingy...

Anyway i already have the latest version of java on my mac and the one on the site u gave me recommended a lower version of java I dont know if i need the lower version of java to get minecraft to work and how do i downgrade the version of my java if u know .. Thx anyway

That means Minecraft is using Java 1.6, not Java 1,7.

Are you sure you've installed Java 1.7 from Sun? If so, maybe you have both installed, but minecraft is using the wrong version.

If you know the exact path to the correct version of java.exe, you could "edit profile" and near the bottom under "Java Settings" you can tick "Executable" and put the path to java in there. Sorry, I'm not an Mac expert - I think it's probably in /usr/bin/java or something.

If Minecraft is using the correct version, then that 'development console' should show java 1.7 instead of 1.6.

I dont get it im confused im sry if quite new to mac too.. the confusing part is how can i put the path to java ????

And im sure i have the latest version of java
