Hello people. I'm having this problem since I started playing Minecraft version 1.2.5, and still! Even in 1.7.4 These lines are still in my game! So, my problem are these lines.
As you can see in this screenshot my sword had some weird lines in the left part. Also you can see that some blocks had weird lines too. If you know a solution to this problem then please tell me! I really want to get rid of these lines.

As I recall this is a graphics card issue. I forgot if it was old drivers, a setting or something. You can fix it I just forget how at the moment.
This is indeed a graphics card issue. My cousin had the same problem and we thought it was just because his computer was extremely laggy and slow. Then my other MC expert cousin said it was something to do with the graphics card. Are you on Windows or Mac?

Try turning MipMapping off in Minecraft and check to see if any MipMapping settings are turned on in your NVIDIA or AMD Control Panel.
Make sure all your drivers are up to date and do not download the BETA Drivers.

Curse PremiumOptifine has updated to 1.7.2. And I'm gonna ignore the comment about Unmodified client support. How'd we solve the L.S.O.D? :3
