Hey folks,
im hoping someone can help me out. My kids got two identical computers along with the minecraft download cards. one install went perfect, couldn't go smoother. the other won't launch I keep getting the error listed in the title. We uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of Java (pointed to by the download), updated videocard drivers, and emptied the download folder and re-downloaded the installer from mojang. the launcher also reads
"Caused by: java.lang.NullPointException
at org.apache.logging.log4j.util.ProviderUtil.<clinit>(ProviderUtil.java:70)
