i just brought the cd at a shopping mall
the version is 1.0.0
i can't even join other server...
can i know how to update the version to 1.7.2 ??
btw i'm testing a free trial for only 2 hours...
but i still can't find it how to update the version.

the pc version doesn't come on a cd, the only thing you can buy in the shops is a code to make your account premium (and the xbox version).
if you bought a cd with minecraft on it then i believe you were scammed.
if you do already have a premium account (paid for with a code or via minecraft.net) then just goto minecraft.net, login and download the launcher from there.
