I have recently updated my laptop too 8.1 in windows. Everything seems to work fine except for the left clicker. There is some sort of lag with it and now I have to click many times to get an action out of it. Only in minecraft though. I have a HP Pavilion. I've been looking for a soluation to this and have yet to find one.
