You have a graphics card that will run 1.7.2, but not any newer. Your best option is to get a new graphics card or new computer.
If you wish to downgrade to 1.7.2, then on the launcher, select Edit Profile. In the 'Use Version' dropdown menu, select the game version you want. Then click Save Profile.
