Hi. Minecraft seems to be lagging a bit ever since 1.7 update.
I used to run the game fine everything high settings with about 50-70 frames. Now I get 20-40 on high settings. I turned down my settings a bit but somehow I still have the same fps?

Computer Specs:
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core Processor 3.80 GHz (4 cores)
Memory(RAM): 8 gb
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7450 1 gb
PSU: 350 watts
Windows 8 64-bit

I can run any other game but why not Minecraft?
Is there anyway I can optimize my game besides optifine or increase my performance?

Anyone?
