So i started up Minecraft 1.7.4 on my MacBook Pro today in the regular fashion. I don't normally play on fullscreen mode (Internet browsing at night time, etc.) It was getting intense so i put fullscreen mode on and as soon as i did so i got a black screen. The sounds were still working but the screen was not. I just command+Q to get out, but when i relaunched it went to fullscreen automatically and was still black. I deleted and re-installed Minecraft, and the problem still persists. F11 does not work either. If i could just get it out of fullscreen mode would be great, but i cant see what I'm doing to do it. Any help? I've ran out of ideas to fix it.
You may need to reset your Minecraft settings to default. To do so, run the following command in a terminal: rm -fr ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/options.txt
You can reach the Terminal by going to Applications > Utilities > Terminal. Alternatively, search for Terminal in the Finder.
