My 7 year old clicked on "full screen mode" on our Mac version of Minecraft, and we soon discovered that this lead to a black screen. I quit the program, and on restart, it automatically goes to the black screen when we click on "play". I don't know how to exit full screen mode if I cannot access the menues to do so. I also tried restarting me computer.

I saw one post where they recommended clicking the "options" button above the login button, but our interface doesn't look like that. So I cannot find the "force update" option. Also, I did install the most recent update 1.7.4, but the problem persists when we select "play". I do not believe the newest version has officially been updated yet, because by the logout button it says "ready to update and play Minecraft 1.7.4"

We need to get out of full screen mode, but I cannot.

My Mac OS X is version 10.6.8

I don't know how to access my java information.

Thankyou so much dude i really needed help with that thank you. But one more question. How do you get full screen to work if it turns black?
