For some reason my minecraft client is running way too fast and when i checked the logs I found this
[20:48:20] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 4249ms behind, skipping 84 tick(s)
and I'm playing in single player. I never had this problem before then it just kinda showed up and it's making everything slightly too fast to play any help would be awesome
I tried all of that, it started happening after reinstalling my OS, I'm running Linux mint 16 with XFCE as my DE. When the game starts it keeps up for a while then slowly starts to speed up, I checked the CPU usage and it's using one core and only about 36% at it's heaviest times
Everything speeds up (day /night cycle, mobs, etc.), it is unmodified with all ram/CPU towards the game, meaning I just make sure nothing is hogging anything. I'm not at my computer and won't be for a little while so I can't get that last part
At first the day and night are just knocked off by a few seconds but it increases by minuets, the shortest I saw was just 3 minuets off I believe, it happens in all the world's I make. On a side note I only have 2gigs which is why I use XFCE, it's really lightweight and uses almost nothing (memorywise) so it's perfect for games and 3D modeling of even high-poly meshes
Well I have never seen my memory go over 60% before, and I run minecraft at it's highest settings, first time I've even had a little bit of lag and I tried running with minimum setting
I'm playing a creative world with no lag but when I switch to my survival I have waaaaay to much lag, that wasn't happening yesterday so I think I may have to trash the world I was getting like 5-10 fps if I had to guess
and I'm playing in single player. I never had this problem before then it just kinda showed up and it's making everything slightly too fast to play

I only did the glxinfo because I didn't know exactly what you wanted out of it and from dmesg I just get this over and over again
