So, I have a Windows laptop and play Minecraft on it.
It is brand new, barely a week old.
When I play Minecraft on Balanced mode in Battery settings, I very rarely get higher then 60 FPS.
However, on Max Performance I get 140+ FPS.
How can I uncap the FPS to make it go higher then 60 on Balanced mode?
P.S. When it's plugged in I get 100+ FPS on Balanced. When it's not, I'm capped. How do I turn off the cap when it's not plugged in, as well?

So it's not really Balanced that is the problem. It's the AC / Battery.
Laptops with switchable graphics often are set to not use the high performance graphics when on Battery, otherwise the battery runs down too quickly. Mine at least can be overridden manually by an Fn key or by right clicking the desktop, going into a graphics menu and toggling from the low power GPU to high performance.GPU

Balanced mode is meant to use half and half for power and performance so you would get ~half the performance (aka 60FPS which all you really need). Like said above when plugged in the computer takes advantage of the power and change to allow more power into performance, slowing charge rate but boosting performance.

you really cant unlock it unfortunately, but if youre getting 60 fps thats pretty much all you need to play minecraft on your laptop . depending on your refresh rate anything over 60 fps is just wasted resources.
