My list has 3 1.6 snaps available: snapshot 13w23b , snapshot 13w25a and snapshot 1.6
Not every single snapshot is available...
Oh, having looked in my "Local Version Editor" I can see that most snaps in my list are only available locally.
It may be that Mojang isn't going to support 'historical' snapshots. When you grab one it stays, but you might not be able to get it after it 'expires'.
