Since the server I play on updated to 1.7.2 I started getting huge lagspikes in the area around my base. Whereas I would get a steady 60-100 FPS while working around there, I'm now getting 0-5 FPS in a 50 block radius around it.
My java is 64 bits, updated to the latest version available. I run no mods whatsoever (there aren't that much mods available anyways), I tried giving the game 2GB of ram instead of 1GB, and so on.
There are a lot of signs, chests and item frames in my base but I don't see how that contributes to huge lagspikes since I was fine in 1.6.4.
My PC isn't the problem, it has a GT555M graphics card and an i7 2670QM CPU

I would rather keep my problem down to this thread.
If u upload u map i can tray to fix it.
(I got map with hundrets of chest and signs in one chunk without problems.)
I think its something other. (Massive mop spawn in on dungeon or an defect chunk near bay.)
I'm afraid I can't upload the map -- it's on a multiplayer server and there's no world downloader plugins available at this time. I'm quite sure the caves are mostly cleared, because my E: (entities) number isn't very big besides the item frames.
Ask some Server Mods if they can visit u and verify the problem.
If the an Problem with th map the Server owner has to fix it or ask for help.
(I always look on my server maps is there an frame drop)
