Hi Guys - Want to run the demo before paying for the game but the demo constantly hangs on my PC with a black screen where sky, etc. should be and the Windows task manager keeps toggling between running & not running. I have the latest Java and all Windows updates installed, running a P4 with 1GB RAM under Windows Media Center 2002 (XP) SP3 - amy help would be greatly appreciated!

That is a very, very old computer.
You should get a new computer, it is 2013.
Reason I say this is because your computer does not meet the minimum requirements for Minecraft.
