I have had the Java problem before and have long since fixed it. I decided to venture to get me a cat but the Jungle Bi I was in was so dense I cleared out some trees to get a good spawning area for Ocelots. I waited for a non specific time and all of the sudden the program closed with the Java (TM) Platform SE binary not responding message.
Thought it might be a rare glitch but everytime I go to this one particular area I get this message and the program closes. It's random when it happens so I assume that if an Ocelot spawns it causes the crash. I might be throwing darts here but I can tell you ive been to the nether, all biomes and caves and never have gotten this issue until yesterday when i was trying to spawn an Ocelot. Go figure.
