First off, I'm on dialup, which makes updating a real pain. There are no other internet packages available here, so I'm stuck with internet slower than what the third world people in their caves probably get.
I'm trying to launch this game, but the launcher gives me the following error message:
Bootstrap started
Found cached update
Renaming C:\Users\Jonah\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\launcher.pack.lzma.new to C:\Users\Jonah\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\launcher.pack.lzma
Unable to rename - could be on another filesystem, trying copy & delete.
Copy & delete succeeded.
Looking for update
Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/launcher/launcher.pack.lzma
Didn't find an update in time.
Reversing LZMA on C:\Users\Jonah\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\launcher.pack.lzma to C:\Users\Jonah\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\launcher.pack
FATAL ERROR: net.minecraft.bootstrap.FatalBootstrapError: Unable to un-lzma: LZMA.LzmaException: LZMA : Data Error
at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.unpack(Bootstrap.java:134)
at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.execute(Bootstrap.java:111)
at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.main(Bootstrap.java:367)
I managed to manually download the launcher.pack.lzma, but I'm not sure where to put it, or what to do with it.
Because of the dialup I doubt the launcher will get it on it's own. It took me about 3 hours just to open these forums and navigate to the support threads.
I usually keep the client open so I can play it again when I want, but I had to reboot the computer recently and now the launcher wont launch.
Any ideas?

We bought some bandwidth for an unrelated issue (1 Gb), and thought, while we have some faster internet, I'll open minecraft to see if I can get it to launch.
Nope. This error still happens. I'm guessing it's because of the FATAL ERROR portion of the above message. Any ideas?
