Getting x ray view

Why am I all of the sudden getting an "Xray" view when I break a wooden block in my house? I've reloaded several times and had the same problem.

Well do what Webrosc says. It may be an issue with 1.7.4.

If that doesn't work, try clearing out your resource packs folder of all texture packs except for default. You may have left an xray pack on by accident (It happens!)
