Ok, so when i click broadcast, it says for me to upgrade to a mojang account. However, i already did. This is annoying! please help. thanks.

You have to connect your Mojang account to a Twitch account at https://account.mojang.com/me/settings
If you haven't already got a Twitch account, you'll need to register one beforehand so you can link to it: http://www.twitch.tv/signup

You also need to secure your account on the Mojang Account Website, by answering security questions in case you lose your account password, somebody is hacking into your account, etc.
