Yesterday Minecraft started having some strange graphics glitches. It happened overnight. The game was fine, no glitches. I turned off the computer. Next day, I started the computer, and the glitches started showing.
I have completely vanilla minecraft, I've never modded the game on my current machine (relatively fresh os install). I didn't install anything on my computer, I didn't change any settings in minecraft or my computer, I didn't update any drivers on my computer.
The affected areas are whole chunks. Some chunks are fixed by pressing F3 and A, some aren't.
I'm running on Windows XP sp 3
ATI Radeon 5700
No, I have not upgraded my graphics drivers and I am saving that as a last resort. Last time I did that it ed up all my games and I eventually had to format the machine to get an old update to work properly.
The screen shots are taken on a server. It has a orebfuscator plugin and a custom land regeneration plugin.
Doubt they have anything to do with this problem..
