Looking for help. I currently upgraded to a MSI TwinFrozr GTX770 2GB/OC. I have an i7-920 @2.67hz Overclocked to 4.0Ghz. Also have 16GB of Ram. When I had a 560ti Minecraft ran perfectly at over 90fps. Now I upgraded to the 770 and now Mineraft doesnt run past 30fps. I have tried the 320.49 drivers and the latest drivers. I also have the latest 64bit Java. Every other game I have runs perfectly at Max Settings. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
The i7-920 is weak, but it is not a bottle neck either. By weak, the fact a stock i5-2500k is same performance in it in multi threaded apps and 45% faster in single threaded, but is not the problem in case any try to claim it is.
Did you uninstall the Nvidia drivers before you swapped cards?
Check Nvidia Control Panel for a setting called OpenGL Threading and ensure it is off.
(Have not used Nvidia GPUs drivers since 2006)
On contrary, I have a feeling you are attempting something graphic setting wise for Minecraft that is not working.

Curse PremiumNot likely at all. A single PCIE 2.1 X16 has far more bandwidth then a single 770GTX can use.
