I've got several worlds stored on my home PC. Recently, I'm away from home, so I've set up minecraft on another PC. I'm wondering:
Can I import my minecraft stuff from the home PC, by replacing the .minecraft DIR with the one from the home PC? I've made an initial attempt at that but it didn't seem to work (worlds didn't appear in minecraft once I've made the switch and restarted minecraft)
Will any new worlds that I'll be creating on the other PC affect the existing ones on my home PC (I'm using the same minecraft account)? I'm concerned of losing stuff I've already created back at home.
As a general question: can two people share the same account (e.g. two brothers in the same household)? what would be the pros and cons of such usage? I mean, each could create his own minecraft assets, correct? But they wouldn't be able to use the game concurrently, true?
