Guys I have a problem!!!! Firstly this is my first post so if this is posted in the wrong section just tell me please don't like kill me or something!
Problem:For some reason I can no longer place blocks directly beneath me in survival mode (haven't tried in Creative). If I look directly down,jump and click the floor nothing happens!! Anytime I wanna get up to a certain height I have to build makeshift stairs and this takes a while especially if trying to get out of a gorge you've fallen into (accidentally) in the middle of the night!!
If anyone has any idea what's wrong please HELP ME.............
Also something I don't know and never got around to finding out is when crafting how do you like get an entire stack without clicking 64 times?? Eg. How to get 64 stairs out of the crafting bench without clicking 64 times? (I know stupid question but once again please don't kill me)
Yes!!! I have done it before (placed blocks beneath me) and it used to work perfectly fine but then a week or two ago *BAM* it stopped working.
Any other suggestions?

Well of course!!! My first reaction was to turn off the game and turn it back on!!!
I'll have to check but I haven't changed any settings lately.I usually use left-click to place block and that's how it's always been! I tried resetting the controls in the game and re-altering them back to my old settings but that didn't work either.
Also thanks for the inventory thingy (even though I got it already )
