I have a awesome server that I want to play but it's updated to 1.7.2 and with this problem I can't get on any server that is on 1.7.2 it will just do java.net.connection exception and I can only get on servers with 1.6 not 1.7 also it doesn't show the name of the server it just shows Minecraft Server and there's nothing else under it. I need serious help I reset my whole comp and it still did it plus I tried the driver to the host thing also I tried deleting my launcher and my .minecraft. So I need help!NOW
You can only get on a server if you have using a client that has the matching version.
So if the server is 1.7.2, then create a 1.7.2 profile, configure it to use minecraft version 1.7.2 and use this profile to connect to any 1.7.2. severs you want to play on.
