I do not not play MC but my 8 y/o daughter does. Shes played on various mediums (ie xbox 360, tablet) and use to play on my old computer in April of this year. April was when I purchased the game online from Mojang. I have recently gotten her her own computer for her 8th bday and tried to DL the game again for her to play on it and cannot seem to get past the launcher. I have DL'd all the updates as well. I can get to where it logs her in and I click on play and then I just get hung up on a black screen. If I click anything while on this brick wall of a black screen, it says the program is not responding and asks if I want to wait. If I do wait...Ill be long dead before it actually loads. Any suggestions?I sent in a copy of my gist to the online chat but didn't seem to get anywhere however they did mention something about my graphics possibly not being pixelated? or accelerated...I cant remember really, but my com does not have the option of accelerating my graphics when I tried to (I run a Mobile Intel GM965 Graphics card). The winprog she has is a Vista Business version of Windows on a Dell Latitude D630. These are the specs:
