Okay so I watched this video: and did what it said, except for the optifine thing, because optifine isn't updated. In the video, he mentions that raising the priority of the game can cause it to become unstable. I raised it and what happened was that looking around would flicker from place to place, kind of like lag. It continued to do this even after undoing what I did previously. Please help.
Case closed. It happened when I changed my screen resolution to a higher level, and has nothing to do with this. It's fixed now :).
