I am trying to run the demo from the Mincraft.net website. However the window keeps freezing up with the words: “Updating Minecraft…done loading”. The green download line is 90% finished but freezes. I have turned off my firewall and updated all my drivers. The issue may be that I have an old computer. Does anyone have an idea why I can’t run the demo from the website? I have included some additional information related to my computer. Thanks for any advice. I am trying to get Minecraft to work for a Christmas present for my son.
