Today I went to login in to minecraft like I have any other time, I entered my credentials as usual but it says my username or password is incorrect.
I can't retrieve my username or password because at the time I purchased the account my mum had control over the email accounts and we she has changed from iinet to bigpond so I cant access the old email account to receive the emails.
I think I may have been hacked and password or username changed.
Is there anyway to access the old iinet account or get my credentials back?
Have you migrated you account to a Mojang account? If you have you can answer the security question it asked you to set when you migrated the account. If you haven't then you can try contacting Mojang's support and see if they can verify you identity though the credit card or paypal account you bought the account with. I'm not sure if they will be able to help but it's worth a shot.
Google reads your messages, and sells your email address to spammers.
Microsoft also collects information from your email address, don't think Google is the only company that collecting information just to sell you ads. I very much doubt Google sells email address to spammers. It wouldn't be in Googles best interest to sell email address to spammers, their company relies on trust in keeping your data safe. Gmail accounts probably get more spam because it's the most popular online email client, so it's a larger target for spammers. Also why would Google put spam and malware filters on it's email services if it sold email address?

Google reads your messages, and sells your email address to spammers.
Not true, in either case.
They serve ads based on keywords in your messages (for example, if you get an email about cars, they might show car ads) but that's a computer doing it, not a person. As much as any of us might want to think we're very important to Google (or Microsoft, or Apple, or anyone else) ... we're not. They don't care what's in our messages.
And they absolutely do not sell your email address to spammers. I have four gmail accounts, and only one of them has ever received any spam -- the one I use for testing things like "free Minecraft account" scams. That one, naturally, gets spam. (to some extent, that's what it's for) But none of the other three do. I'm pretty sure if Google was selling email addresses to spammers, all four email addresses would be getting the same amount of spam. That isn't happening.
I have to wonder why someone would try to convince others that Microsoft is a more ethical company than Google.

I personally think that both companies have about the same amount of ethics. They both operate quite differently, but I've never seen either one of them do something strictly unethical.
Sadly there is nothing you can do because you do not have access to the email address you signed up on.
The only option is to make a new account, you can make a new account at Mojang.com, then purchase a new Minecraft account or redeem a Minecraft gift code.
