So, starting about yesterday night, I have been having some weird problems in Minecraft.
The first thing that happened was yesterday, in my Minecraft world when my daylight sensor to tell time on a tower started flickering the lights. The sensor was inside and out of site of the daylight, so I put the sensor outside and it seems to work, but still odd.
But just as I was building now, I was in a cave building, so I used splash potions of Night Vision. And while using it, my screen turned pitch black several times, only when I placed down a torch did it return my viewing.
Why is it lagging like this? Is it the size of my world, or is it a script thing, because I heard they were rewriting the MC script, and I don't know when that's updating.
You may need some more RAM, this makes your world less laggy and goes with servers as well.

Well I do have 8GB of RAM already, should be more than enough to handle my world.
This also may be your Internet connection, check if its weak or stong

That may be it since my internet connection has never been the best. Although I thought Single Player Minecraft didn't run on the internet connection.
