My game keeps pausing (to clarify, it opens the menu, as if I pressed escape), but unlike others who have posted a similar problem, I don't need to click the mouse to have it pause, it just pauses itself whenever it feels like it (usually every 15 seconds or so)!
I have a paid version, freshly installed, version 1.7.2.
I also have the latest version of Java.
Any help appreciated!
Go to options and switch graphics to fast instead of fancy. Also you should turn off mipmapping in options too.
This is clearly a lag. If these two methods does not fix your problem, contact Mojang to report this bug.
OK. problem solved, nothing to do with Minecraft, it was a process associated with TP-LINK, a wireless internet device. Seems many other people had the same problem with the same process for all sorts of games.
